The central stainless steel tube is surrounded by single layer of aluminum clad steel wires.

Characteristics and Application

• Small cable diameter. Lower fault current capacity and light weight.
• Central tube has worse excess fiber length compared to stranded tube design.
• This type of OPGW cable has slightly worse tensile, torsion and crush resistance performance.
• Applicable to the transformation of existing lines.
